The city that never sleeps and hates salad!
This weekend seems to have flown by. Friday night we saw BORAT. I had no expectations going into it and wasn't disappointed. It is possibly the single most offensive movie I have ever seen, but did provide a good laugh here and there. Saturday was a busy day full or errands and shopping... Which culminated in a movie rental and early night. Sunday Megs and I both took the train into NYC together and then split up. Megs went to do wedding stuff with her mom and I spent the day with two groups of friends. The first half of the day was spent with my buddy Ankil and some of his friends. We went to some bar on 40th and 10th where everyone proceeded to drink like beer was an endangered product which if not consumed in mass quantities yesterday... would never been seen or drunk again. I on the other hand (having had kidney stones 5 times now) decided to stick with cranberry juice... The waitress actually called me an unflattering name for women’s genitals... She then even further berated me when I ordered a cobb salad with no dressing as apposed to hot wings with mounds of blue cheese....
Needless to say I wanted to kick this woman in the ovaries.. But simply smiled and enjoyed my lunch.
The second half of the day was spent with Megs, and my two friends Aaron and Andrew. We had a chill hour or so at Andrews’s apartment followed by dinner somewhere around Lexington and 37/38. Again.. I ordered.. You guessed it... salad..
To be honest- all the ridicule in the world doesn’t matter to me... as long as I look like a million bucks come August 12th 2007.
